AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beziehung

Oil on canvas | 120 × 160 cm

Two human figures stand side by side. Their bodies are close to one another, yet their gazes and stances leave open what their relationship to each other is.

Delicate yellows, pinks, and beige tones meet fresh turquoise and muted brown and gray nuances. The figures arise from loose, partly transparent color fields and sketchy lines. Their contours dissolve in places and merge with the surrounding picture space.

The composition moves between figuration and abstraction. Proximity and distance exist simultaneously, without a specific story being told.

“Beziehung” is a large-format, contemporary figurative painting about human togetherness, about gestures, postures, and the unsaid connections between two people.

Original painting, oil on canvas, 120 × 160 cm.

About me:
"My painting operates at the border between figuration and abstraction — a tense dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds, and intuitive dynamics. Inspired by the energy of abstract expressionism, moving between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines breaking through surfaces.
Figures appear and disappear.
An emotionally charged dance between control and release."
