I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, at home in Germany since 1990.
Today my works are almost exclusively created on paper. This more compact and calmer working method fits not only my creative process but is also a response to health challenges. It suits my daily life and gives me the space to fully engage with the subject.

My work often emerges in small series and in changing styles – for me, art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga, and since the 1990s I have worked professionally – with exhibitions domestically and abroad.

I love creating characters with personality – beings that carry a small story inside. Sometimes quirky, sometimes softly thoughtful, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handcrafted original – painted with care, humor, and heart. Perhaps one of them speaks to you.
