Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage to Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, along with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects were handcrafted by me in elaborate manual work.
Parts of the hand finishing traces are visible, which underline the uniqueness of each object
Hand-signed
Ultramarine blue pigment in an elaborate mixture absorbs light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the ambient light
Elephant is about 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black base
Edition No. 10/20
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An essential characteristic of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising, well known.
The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me and thereby given a new life as a "work of art"
