The bright silver-coloured dial features the model name "Astra", the designation "Shockproof", refined Arabic numerals and a clean, decentralised seconds hand at the 6 o'clock position. The watch is fitted with a high-quality mechanical hand-wound movement of Junghans' own manufacture (the famous caliber 24). The movement is clearly signed on the plate with the iconic Junghans star with the letter 'J' in the middle and the cal. number 24. This robust movement features a reliable shock protection system, which in this period was a characteristic technical innovation for everyday use. The mechanism functions properly and the watch runs well.

This vintage pocket watch is in very beautiful and collectible condition.
