Fascinating and refined Zenith Cosmopolitan wristwatch, a model of extraordinary elegance that fully expresses the prestige of Zenith, the historic Swiss house synonymous with absolute quality and precision. The Cosmopolitan line, born between the 1980s and 1990s, represents the pinnacle expression of the neo-vintage classicism of the Le Locle manufacture, designed to offer ultra-thin formal (dress watch) watches, characterized by clean, geometric lines and a timeless elegance. This specific specimen captures attention with a wonderful milk-white dial enriched by black Roman numeral hour markers and a 3 o’clock date window. The baton hands move gracefully over the dial, which bears the “Swiss Made” signature at 6 o’clock. The rectangular case with rounded corners stands out for a splendid two-tone finish with a golden bezel, paired with a refined golden Milanese mesh bracelet that gives a warm and magnetic shine to the wrist.
The watch presents itself in absolutely exceptional aesthetic and mechanical conditions; it is effectively a true stock clearance item (NOS - New Old Stock), never worn, as demonstrated by the pristine surfaces and the presence of original vintage sealing wax traces still clearly visible on the stainless steel case back. The latter is screw-down and bears the reference “19.0090.195” together with the iconic four-dial Zenith logo of the era, also engraved inside the case back. The in-house Zenith 19.5 quartz movement (V8 Swiss, 1 Jewel) is perfectly running, tested with a new battery and keeps excellent time.
