Description from the seller
From the Claude Monet series, Artis Orbis produced in the Goebel manufactory, the vase shows Claude Monet's famous painting “La maison de l'artiste à Argenteuil” (“The Artist's House in Argenteuil”).
Monet painted the image, which serves as the model for this beautiful vase, in 1873. It depicts the summer façade of his then-house in Argenteuil (a suburb of Paris), framed by magnificent, lushly blooming red dahlias in the foreground.
The vase comes from the well-known “Artis Orbis” collection by Goebel. This series transfers masterpieces by world-renowned painters onto exclusive glass and porcelain home accessories. The printed motif on the vase features Monet's impressionist painting. Typical for these collectibles are the fine gold embellishments along the edges and Monet’s printed signature on the front, here in pristine condition, with no wear.
The vase is a contemporary collectible and decorative object made of high-quality bone porcelain.
The vase is free of wear, damage, or chips. A display piece.
