Description of the work:
Important and fascinating poly-material work on canvas by the Italian artist and architect Eugenio Mombelli (born 1950). A prominent figure of Italian informal art, analyzed by historians such as Vittorio Sgarbi and Paolo Levi.
Titled "Itinerario Vitale" and dating from the early 2000s, it stands out for an extraordinary, rich material research that combines oil painting with the use of cement thicknesses and inserts of micro corrugated paper in different hues.
