Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.
My passion for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even back then I was fascinated by colors, shapes, and the opportunity to give my ideas a personal expression. This passion continues to form the foundation of my work today.
I was particularly shaped by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. With him I learned to paint. His sense of color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were of great significance to my development. As his pupil I was able to benefit from a knowledge and a passion that still accompany me today.
I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On that basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting.
Since 2015 I have been passionately devoted to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interaction of color layers, the resulting textures, and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. In doing so, craft learned earlier merges with intuition and joy in experimenting.
My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions, and give viewers lasting delight. Each work leaves room for one's own thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special to me: a painting can mean something different for everyone and, over time, reveal new sides again and again.
With every canvas I develop my work further—carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses from my teacher, and the wish to create something of my own.
The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube for delivery. An authenticity certificate is included in the delivery.
