A. Asencio’s 2026 unique original painting Vértigo XL is a signed acrylic on canvas, measuring 90 × 70 cm.
Description from the seller
"Vertigo" explores the relationship between landscape, perception and the emotional experience of the environment. Through a composition of intense chromatic planes, organic shapes and gestural brushstrokes, a space is built that seems to oscillate between the recognizable and the imagined.
The deep blue establishes an enveloping atmosphere that contrasts with the strength of red and the delicacy of the pinkish shapes, generating a visual tension between stability and movement. The swirl present in the composition introduces a sense of rotation and transformation, like a focal point that alters our perception of space.
The work invites reflection on how we experience our environment, perceived as a sensation of imbalance, fascination and discovery.

Brief Bio: I am especially interested in creating compositions that offer the viewer a point of view with which they can identify. Whether through discomfort, serenity or contemplation, my intention is to generate a space for reflection and questioning. On a painterly level, I am drawn to vibrant colors, strong saturations and fresh color ranges.
I find a rich source of inspiration in observing our social and natural environment. I often like to imagine that I observe the planet from a great distance; that symbolic distance allows me to rethink reality from another perspective. I also explore the universe of the feminine, addressing its multiple dimensions from a personal, sensitive and introspective gaze.
