Elegant men's Longines wristwatch, purchased in the early 1990s. A timeless classic-style model from the Heritage collections of the prestigious Swiss maison, preserved in original condition and never polished (“unpolished”).
• Case: Solid 18-karat yellow gold. The original “750” hallmark is clearly stamped and visible between the lugs. The case has its beautiful original reddish patina (natural oxidation of the copper in the 18k gold alloy, resulting from long-term storage in a safe), a sign of an authentic piece that has never undergone aggressive polishing that would have altered its contours.
• Movement: Longines-signed mechanical automatic movement, 17 jewels (17 Jewels), Swiss Made. Perfectly visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back (characteristic of production in the 1990s), in excellent, clean aesthetic condition.
• Dial: Original white dial with applied geometric markers and gold Arabic numerals. Longines winged hourglass at 12 o’clock and date window at 3 o’clock.
• Strap: Brown leather with gold-tone buckle.
• Included: Comes with its original period Longines box. Please note that the box’s outer covering has deteriorated due to long-term storage in a safe in contact with other objects (a typical issue with boxes from this period); the watch inside is nevertheless perfectly protected. No papers included.
• Condition: The watch is offered in its original preserved condition. It has not been artificially polished, in order to preserve the integrity of its lines. Minor signs of use consistent with its age.
