Elio Lazzari (Venice, 1942) is one of the most well-known contemporary Venetian painters, appreciated for his suggestive views of the lagoon and of everyday Venetian life. Defined by critics as «one of the last great Venetian vedutisti», he has exhibited in important Italian and international venues, including New York, Washington and Luxembourg.
