Sagrasse’s hand-signed resin and marble-powder sculpture, Vamp - Small, is a 2023 Red metal limited edition of 499, measuring 26 × 26 × 11 cm.
Description from the seller
Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life has deep roots in artisanal mastery. For forty years he has worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality between the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, varnishing, and chroming.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he has always guarded. What for decades had been “only” an exemplary technique thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has earned important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these, notable are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition “Arte Venezia” in 2025, the collaboration with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From craftsman to signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse demonstrates how a life’s experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly within the path of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the comparison to Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handcrafted piece, conceived and made entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural feature of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean with a soft cloth only, without detergents.
