Description from the seller
A beautiful and elegant French porcelain dinner service by Chambon, Limoges, France, featuring a refined and luxurious design, with a deep raspberry-magenta border richly decorated with intricate gilt floral and ornamental motifs. A delicate pale blue band separates the decoration from the white central field, creating a beautiful contrast and an elegant overall appearance.
12 dinner plates, 25 cm diameter
1 large oval plate, 34.7 cm x 25.5 cm
2 small oval dishes, 22.3 x 13.5 cm
1 serving knife, 28.5 cm length
Very good overall condition. There are some minor signs of wear consistent with age and use, mainly slight fading or rubbing of the gilt and coloured decoration on the serving platters, and possibly a few very small areas of wear here and there on some plates.
A particularly attractive set for collectors of French Limoges porcelain and a beautiful decorative service for Christmas and winter entertaining.
Shipped via registered and insured mail.
