The MoMA Design Store’s 2025 Little Wanderer Red snow globe is made of glass and resin and depicts a character conceived by Yoshitomo Nara.
Description from the seller
Snow globe “Little Wanderer” released exclusively by the MoMA Design Store, after the character imagined by Yoshitomo Nara for his sculpture series “Little Pilgrims (Night Walking)” (1999) — a sleepy, pajama-clad child, a recurring figure in the artist’s universe.
The figurine, hand-painted, is set inside a glass globe filled with white snow, on a resin base. Color: Red, one of the three options offered by MoMA (along with Yellow and Blue). A hybrid between a design toy and a museum piece, conceived to be displayed year-round on a desk or shelf.
Condition: New, never removed from its original MoMA box. Dimensions: approximately 11 × 10 × 10 cm (globe included). 2025 MoMA Design Store edition (revised version after a recall of lot 2023, see note at the top of the listing).
Provenance: direct purchase from the MoMA Design Store, resold via Art Street Gallery. Careful shipping with reinforced padding suitable for glass objects.
