UNSEEN - BORN FROM ART

BORN FROM ART - You become what inspires you.

BORN FROM ART is a unique contemporary sculptural artwork by UNSEEN, created from an articulated wooden figure and entirely painted by hand.

The work explores the idea that artistic identity is shaped by what we observe, admire and absorb. Its title reflects that process: creation does not appear from nowhere - it is born from influence, memory, culture and personal interpretation.

Visually, the piece carries a clear tribute to the great Keith Haring. His energetic lines, simplified figures, sense of movement and bold graphic language can be felt throughout the composition, while being reinterpreted through UNSEEN’s own sculptural universe rather than directly reproduced.

Every painted detail has been individually applied by hand, transforming the original wooden mannequin into a one-of-a-kind artwork. Its articulated structure allows the composition to exist fully in three dimensions, revealing different details depending on the viewing angle and the pose chosen for display.

A handmade clay element completes the piece and symbolizes the final stage of the creative process: the moment when inspiration becomes something tangible, personal and new.

BORN FROM ART is therefore both a tribute and a reflection on artistic evolution - on how inspiration can be absorbed, transformed and eventually turned into an original creation with its own identity.

UNSEEN is a contemporary sculptural artist whose work explores identity, emotion and hidden meaning through hand-painted wooden figures.

Using the wooden artist mannequin as a recurring sculptural form, UNSEEN transforms each figure through painting, composition and handmade sculptural details. Every piece becomes a unique object combining colour, volume and symbolism, allowing a familiar form to carry a new narrative and identity.
