Figurine table lamp - Wood, Bronze

A distinctive table lamp made using a wooden sculpture depicting a seated female figure, characterized by an elaborate hairstyle, face turned upward, and a broad dress with deeply carved drapery.
The sculpture exhibits stylistic features attributable to the European Baroque and late Baroque tradition. The woodworking shows clear traces of hand carving, with a gilded finish of antique appearance and an irregular patina.
Particularly interesting is the configuration of the arms, apparently missing or modified, which suggests a possible reuse of a sculptural element originally intended for another decorative function.
The figure rests on a stepped wooden base.
On the back is mounted a curved metal support, with a lamp holder and a fabric-covered truncated-conical shade.
