Description from the seller
A green meadow opens up at the top, bright and almost sunlit, then grows deeper as it descends until it dissolves into a purple velvet, like grass when evening arrives. Halfway down runs a band of coral and dark red poppies, laid on with short, full brushstrokes that still seem moved by the wind. Some petals detach and rise lightly into the green, others slide toward the shade. The dense, granular surface, made of small adjacent marks, makes the color vibrate with every change of light. What remains is the image of a day slowly drawing to a close, in the sweetest and most tranquil moment of the evening.
Signed and dated 2026 at the bottom right
Image dimensions: 90 x 70 cm
Overall canvas size: 100 x 80 cm
The work is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube.

Parfen D. is a contemporary artist who transforms painting into a poetic gesture, capable of revealing the intimate connection between human beings and nature. His work stands out for its ability to quietly evoke universal emotions through a refined and minimalist visual poetry. He does not aim to represent nature realistically, but to suggest its essence: fragility, lightness, and a deep connection with our inner world. Each brushstroke is a meditative act, an invitation to slow down, to immerse oneself in a universe of vibrating silence. The colors, which often dominate his works, are not mere tones but true protagonists, loaded with memory and meaning. His canvases do not impose a narrative, but offer spaces for contemplation where anyone can find their own story.
