Safwan Haroun’s signed 2026 original oil painting *Sunset sailing* is a contemporary seascape from Sweden, measuring 70 × 50 cm.
Description from the seller
Seascape oil painting depicting a tall-masted sailing ship battling rough ocean waters at sunset.
Large, powerful waves crash and foam in the foreground, while the ship, with its white sails fully unfurled, sails toward the glowing horizon.
The sky transitions from deep blue at the top into warm golden-orange and soft purple tones near the sun. Several seagulls soar across the scene, and a piece of floating wreckage or debris appears in the lower right

Artist Biography
Safwan Haroun
Syrian artist Safwan Haroun graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Latakia.
He began his artistic journey in 1990, marking the opening of his private art gallery in Latakia during that time.
His works were previously sold to collectors and art enthusiasts in Lebanon, Cyprus, Greece, Armenia and Egypt.
During the war, he continued to paint as a home hobby in the Syrian countryside. Despite 14 years of war, this became his escape and comfort — a source of life and peace, far from the war and the difficult circumstances.
Later, his paintings reached buyers and art lovers in Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland and the Nordic countries with my help (son) in showcasing his work and promoting it.
