AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
2 old liquid compasses. Neither is usable in its current condition.
Both need servicing. The Bergen Nautic compass is dry, and the large compass is only half-filled with liquid.
They can probably be repaired or perhaps used for parts.
Diameter: large compass 18.5 cm. Small compass 13.5 cm.
Photos form part of the description.
The compasses will be very carefully packed and sent insured and registered, with a track-and-trace code.
Also take a look at my other lots and save on shipping costs if possible.
Will not be shipped to the United States.
Seller's Story
,We specialize in antique maritime objects. But also more recent maritime objects, old measuring devices and other curiosities.
The customer comes first with us. We try to handle everything as well as possible and to take care of the shipment in a very good way. If the buyer is not satisfied, we always come to a solution together. See our reviews for confirmation.
We appreciate personal contact, even if there are complaints.
If several lots are purchased in the same auction, we will calculate the cheapest shipping costs based on registered shipping. Shipping costs that are too much collected by Catawiki will be reimbursed to you afterwards
