Bernard De Bruyn (1923) - Winterlandschap

Very beautiful work by the famous Flemish artist Bernard De Bruyn.

De Bruyn, born in 1923 in France, moved at a young age to Denderleeuw where he also got married.
Out of fear that descendants would no longer know what Flanders looked like at that time, together with the rapid industrialization, he painted landscapes as faithfully as possible. For him it was a hymn to nature.
His style could be described as romantic, in which he used soft pastel colors.

This work with mixed technique on paper is in good condition, as it has a protective frame with glass. The work was, at the time, very carefully framed by a well-known framemaker in Antwerp. For safety reasons the glass has been removed for transport.
