Wall sculpture – “PASSIONE” RED - by the Italian artist “KIRAS”, a pop art artist with international sales

The sculpture is made in bioplastic using 3D technology; bioplastic is a plant-based material such as sugarcane, therefore of totally natural origin and without environmental impact. The work is entirely handcrafted to achieve a glossy, smooth final finish, a meticulous, entirely manual process of polishing, filling, and varnishing that allows for a perfect piece even when based on simple materials. Lips, teeth, and tongue are lacquered in acrylic with a transparent protective varnish.

Kiras’ philosophy is to create works with simple materials that are as environmentally friendly as possible without sacrificing the strong, aesthetic impact the piece must have to better convey its message. The question a viewer might ask is… ceramic? No, it’s bioplastic! but the aesthetic result you will have will be the same… ;-) A long manual process entirely performed by the artist also follows a second guideline: the creation of extremely limited editions.

The works “Kiras” are created by the artist who not only signs them but also oversees the entire production… it is therefore a prerogative to produce series of only a few dozen pieces, the only way to guarantee that it is truly the artist who makes them… and buyers will have the certainty of owning a quasi-unique piece at home… a few dozen sold worldwide, a unique piece in your home!
