AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

AMA • Pope (1985) – "Aurora POWER" – 5/20

Often imitated, never matched: the original Aurora, signed by "Pope".

When motivation becomes a luminous force.

Following the success of the Aurora Borealis series, Aurora Original Fake Counterfeit, Aurora Authentic Fake… Pope continues his ironic exploration of contemporary myths, between personal achievement, entrepreneurial culture, and the modern obsession with performance.

"Aurora POWER" – Money, Power, Respect erects a foundational triptych of the contemporary business mentality into a luminous, chrome, hypnotic art object, almost totemic.

On the front face, the message makes itself known:
POWER accompanied by a gold W that subtly echoes the lightning emoji — a graphic wink to energy, momentum, and power.

On the sides, the motto unfolds:
MONEY / RESPECT.

A universal mantra.
A leitmotif engraved in matter.
An emblematic triad of modern motivational culture.

The textured, ribbed black vinyl interacts with the chrome surfaces and iridescent reflections, while the inner light transforms the sculpture into a true visual engine, pulsing like a source of creative energy.

By day: a brilliant, cold, statuesque icon.
By night: a multicolored aurora borealis setting the space ablaze.
A striking contrast between individual ambition and collective fascination with success.

Limited edition of 20 copies for 2025, signed, numbered, and delivered with AMA certificate of authenticity.
Fast and secure shipping (bubble wrap, tissue paper, reinforced carton) with signature on delivery.

Features:

- 3 diffusion modes (static, fade transitions, simple transitions)

The limited edition applies exclusively to the graphic customization and artistic finish carried out by Pope, and not to the base commercially manufactured luminous sculpture.

Who is Pope?

Pope, cofounder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe driven by a practice of the visual arts since childhood, an exacting attention to detail, and meticulous visual research.
Through sculptures, paintings, and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes, and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and wondrous gaze, attentive to both simplicity and complexity of the world around him.

Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from currents of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name a few.

Whether as a gift, a memento, or part of your personal collection of contemporary art, you will easily find your favorite piece thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his passion for urban art through street art (streetart) and pop art (popart) (limited edition or not), covering a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drugs' harms, luxury brands and haute couture, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, and products of the agro-food and fashion industries (sports, sneakers...).

Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope likes to mischievously twist labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many more.

Dear bidders, our collective makes every effort to ensure that all information necessary to evaluate the lot is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description, and photos... After the sale, no unwarranted claims will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
