Who is Pope?

Pope, cofounder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe driven by a practice of the visual arts since childhood, a meticulous attention to detail, and a careful visual exploration. Through sculptures, paintings, and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes, and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and wondrous gaze, attentive to both the simplicity and the complexity of the world around him.

Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from movements of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.
