In the top the light is clear, almost diaphanous, between pale yellow and pale green, like the air of a clear morning. Toward the bottom the gold intensifies in saffron tones and lets emerge patches of purple that give depth and vibration. At the base a dark olive green gathers the composition and anchors it to the ground. The leaf prints, layered and grainy, accumulate into a dense and luminous weave. Slender stems, light or midnight blue, rise toward the light. It yields a serene and sunlit image, a golden field that seems to breathe in the daylight.
