LeYack’s 2026 work “Midnight Fitting - Hand signed” is a hand-signed, limited-edition giclée print on canvas, measuring 40 × 40 cm and depicting a couture fitting at night.
Description from the seller
Midnight, in front of a haute couture house window. Inside, a young woman poses on a plinth in an ivory ball gown, while a seamstress, on her knees, adjusts the hem, pin after pin. Outside, a man in a tuxedo, leaning against a black sedan, smokes without taking his eyes off the scene.
One thinks of Pygmalion and My Fair Lady, of the endless fittings of the great fashion houses of the fifties, and of the window as the city’s theater. Who is he waiting for? The woman in white, undoubtedly. But for now, she still belongs to the workshop, between red and blue mannequins.
The glass separates two worlds: the warm gold of couture and the cold blue of the street.
