Mara. J XXL - Tourmaline Thicket

A dense weave of leaves rises from darkness toward the light. Below, among deep greens and dark crimson, slender stems make their way through. As they rise, the color grows warmer and lighter, reaching a luminous pink flecked with tiny golden glimmers. The surface is made up of short, grainy brushstrokes, layers of botanical impressions laid one over another, and the material seems to breathe. The eye follows the stems upward, from a quiet stillness to an open, serene light.
