XTC’s *Extincteur Tabasco Scorpion* is a hand-painted aluminium sculpture, signed by the artist, numbered 24/30 and dated 2026.
Description from the seller
Tabasco Scorpion Fire Extinguisher by XTC.
Completely painted with spray paints and varnish, no stickers; even the label is fully painted for a uniform result and better durability over time.
Sculpture in commercially manufactured aluminum (fire extinguisher) customized, hand-finished by artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes. The edition number applies to the artist-painted finish, not to the base object, the extinguisher.
Numbered out of 30 and signed on the back, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The shipped item is not necessarily the one shown in the photo.
Careful packing and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in central France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has evolved into a passion that was destined to come to fruition.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the appropriation of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through bold staging of icons of popular consumption, making them clash with the world of luxury and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of plastics and sometimes mineral materials.
All possible defects or imperfections (recovered extinguisher) are an integral part of the work.
Empty extinguisher. (It is obviously forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels and/or the pin are missing)
