Original sculpture designed, crafted and finished by the artist XTC using polyethylene, resin and acrylic paints and varnishes, framed.
Signed and numbered on the back out of 20, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The copy sent is not necessarily the one pictured but will be similar.
Careful and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration became a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement (appropriation) of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne or even caviar) and Street Art, blurring the boundaries, already tenuous, between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
