This piece is an original creation made by THREAD RAGS, an independent studio based in France.

It is made from an authentic pre-owned LOUIS VUITTON Keepall, available in sizes 50, 55 or 60, selected and then transformed to create a unique piece combining luxury, second-hand fashion and textile art.

The creation incorporates a 100% cotton tapestry depicting an interpretation of Salvator Mundi, the iconic work by Leonardo da Vinci, as well as a black waterproof interior lining.

Each piece is designed and handmade in France. Its production takes several weeks, from preparing and designing the different elements to assembling them and completing the finishing touches.

Using a pre-owned LOUIS VUITTON base is an integral part of THREAD RAGS’ approach. Each bag may therefore have slight marks, signs of wear or other characteristics resulting from previous use. These features are inherent to the pre-owned nature of the piece and may vary from one item to another. They contribute to the unique character of each creation.
The materials used to make the piece are authentic. The transformation, customization and finishing are carried out by THREAD RAGS in France.

This is an independent creation by THREAD RAGS made from an authentic LOUIS VUITTON base. As Salvator Mundi is a work in the public domain, this textile creation constitutes an independent interpretation of the original work.

This creation is not an official collaboration with LOUIS VUITTON or the work in question. The creation offered is therefore the result of THREAD RAGS’ design, transformation and craftsmanship.
