This piece is an original creation by THREAD RAGS, an independent studio based in France.

It is made from an authentic pre-owned LOUIS VUITTON Keepall, available in size 50, 55 or 60, selected and then transformed to create a unique piece combining luxury, second-hand fashion and textile art.

The creation features a 100% cotton tapestry depicting an interpretation of Sunflowers, Van Gogh’s iconic work, as well as a black waterproof lining.

Each piece is designed and handmade in France. Its production takes several weeks, from preparing and designing the different elements to assembling them and adding the finishing touches.

About the creation:

Using a pre-owned LOUIS VUITTON base is an integral part of THREAD RAGS’ approach. Each bag may therefore show minor marks, signs of wear or other characteristics resulting from previous use. These are inherent to the pre-owned nature of the piece and may vary from one example to another. They contribute to the unique character of each creation.
The materials used to make the piece are authentic. The transformation, customization and finishing are carried out by THREAD RAGS in France.

This is an independent creation made by THREAD RAGS using an authentic LOUIS VUITTON base. As Sunflowers is a public-domain work, this textile creation is an independent interpretation of the original artwork.

This creation is not an official collaboration with LOUIS VUITTON or the artwork in question. The creation offered is therefore the result of THREAD RAGS’ design, transformation and craftsmanship.
