This oil-on-canvas work is distinguished by a Post-Impressionist style, with loose brushwork rich in texture and impasto that lend great expressiveness to the painted surface. Through the open view from an interior window, the artist invites us to contemplate a coastal landscape bathed in warm, vibrant light, where a green vase filled with wildflowers in warm shades—orange, white, and red—creates an intimate chromatic dialogue with the natural world outside. In the background, the horizon reveals a blue sea with calm waters, a small boat sailing alone, and a picturesque coastal village perched on the cliffs beneath a dynamic sky dotted with scattered clouds. Through this scene, the artist seeks to convey a profound sense of peace, nostalgia, and refuge, celebrating the everyday beauty of a moment suspended between the warmth of home and the vastness of the seascape.
