Sasha de Saint Tropez (1969) - Brigitte Bardot

Described as the Andy Warhol of the 21st century, Sasha de Saint Tropez is well known in France for his pop art paintings of celebrities such as Steve McQueen, Marilyn Monroe and Saint Tropez’s own queen, Brigitte Bardot. He also works in sculpture and has created unique pieces, such as a modern reinterpretation of the Venus de Milo in Plexiglas.
To make his work even more accessible to visitors to his gallery, Sasha de Saint Tropez also sells affordable posters of his Saint Tropez art.

Acrylic painting on canvas, dating from mid-2005, depicting the great actress, public figure and global icon Brigitte Bardot in her pop art version. The painting measures 39 x 39 cm and is signed on the front, “Sasha de Saint Tropez 2005”. Housed in a black lacquered wooden frame with a mat, measuring 54 x 54 cm.
