It looks like the cockpit of a fighter pilot .... but it is "only" an air navigation light of American origin in the typical grey colour used on combat aircraft: the two black arrows in the last photo, indicate where the navigation lights are placed on the wings of the fighters.

All original: the housing has been overhauled and electrified for domestic use at 220 volts. Unscrewing the two side screws removes the shell with the red glass and lets you access the lightbulb.

I highlight a very light peeling of the glass (see detailed photos) that does not compromise the aesthetics and is the reason why this piece was removed from the aircraft.
