Dési van Rhee

A delightful mid-century modernist silver hammered cabaret or tray for name cards, measuring 26.2cm in length and weighing 235g, with applied cast handles and double ball centre ornament. Stamped to the underside with Sterling 925S and maker´s mark of Villads Nielsen, one of the more high-end Danish silver smiths of the Art Deco period and beyond. 

Condition: Overall very good, no damages or repairs. Minor imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. 

Note: We had a camera malfunction on this day of photography resulting in us having to resort to an old digital camera to take these pictures. We apologize for the abysmal quality of the images and assure the bidder that the tray is in real life much more attractive. 

This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
