Spectacular potiche made in green on a teak wood base presenting a sophisticated dragon-shaped sculpture distributed and developed on three ascending levels from the base bowl, culminating with a majestic figure of a beautiful green dragon.
The piece consists of three parts:
- Large base bowl on three legs
- Lid in two pieces, screwed together from the first level to the second via a threaded groove carved in the same rock (photo)
- Pedestal carved in teak wood
The total height measures 39.5 cm, excluding 3.5 cm of the wooden pedestal
The total weight of the set is 5888 grams, excluding 357 grams of the wooden pedestal
Three of the four teeth protruding from the main base bowl are visible, adhering to the traditional custom of avoiding the number four in its everyday cultural symbolism
Comes from a private collection that had it on display in an art gallery
Photos are an important part of the description; different lighting styles are shown to be appreciated in all its beauty
