Description from the seller
A substantial editorial project, FMR luxury edition, composed of a monumental volume enriched by two bronze bas-reliefs patinated in silver 999, and a separate bas-relief of the Eucharist with the same technique enclosed in plexiglass; the book is also housed in its elegant plexiglass case.
Luxury edition hand-bound in natural parchment by FMR edizioni d'arte in the year 2008, under the supervision of Marilena Ferrari
Hand-numbered limited edition of 150 copies, this is 94/150
Artist's and publisher's signatures on the colophon
Pages on 160 g cotton paper
Binding in natural parchment - inscriptions in silver
Serigraph plate outside the text
The front cover features an image of Benedict XVI and a façade study on the back cover, produced as bas-reliefs in bronze patinated in silver 999 by Giuseppe Ducrot using an earth-casting technique.
Separately, we find the bas-relief of the Eucharist contained in plexiglass, which adorns the book.
Very good condition, always kept with great care as shown in the photos; the plexiglass has a few small scratches, the parchment of the binding may show only slight browning.
