The antique silver knotting/wool basket is of the oval boat-shaped type, openwork with floral leaf and vertical bar motifs, has a wide flaring upper rim, stands on a raised foot, handle and base ring in a fine ribbed motif.

Silver hallmarks:
running lion + "old sword" (2nd grade silver, 833/1000) - Minerva head - year letter B 1836 - master silversmith’s mark.

Dimensions:
length 9 cm - width 8.5 cm - height 11 cm (incl. handle) - weight 72 g.

Condition:
in good condition with normal signs of use/age - see photos (part of the description and condition).

Het antieke zilveren knotten/wolmandje is van het ovale schuitvormige type, opengewerkt met florale blad- en verticale spijlmotieven, heeft een breed uitlopende bovenrand, staat op een verhoogd voetje, hengsel en standring in een fijn ribmotief. 

Zilver keurmerken:
lopend leeuwtje + "oud zwaardje" (2e gehalte zilver, 833/1000) - minervahoofd - jaarletter B 1836 - meesterteken zilversmid.

Maten:
lang 9 cm - breed 8,5 cm - hoog 11cm (incl. hengsel) - gewicht 72 gram.
