De FLOS Gaku Tafellamp is een ontwerp uit 2017 van de Japanse designer Nendo. Gaku is een decoratieve en uiterst functionele lamp die niet alleen als lichtpunt dient maar ook ruimte biedt aan bijvoorbeeld het opbergen van boeken of accessoires.

Gaku heeft in de basis een minimalistisch vierkant frame van massief essenhout. Het frame is voorzien van vrijstaande lamp van polycarbonaat. Het lichtpunt heeft een diameter van 11 centimeter en is 10 centimeter hoog. Gaku is voorzien is van een draadloos oplaadpunt, waarop niet alleen de verplaatsbare lamp zelf maar ook bijvoorbeeld uw telefoon opgeladen kan worden.

De Wireless Gaku doet denken aan een theelichtje en geeft een warm, sfeervol licht. De lichtbron is dimbaar in vier lichtsterktes en kan op een volle batterij 6.5 uur lang op volle sterkte licht geven. Een ingebouwd beveiligingssysteem zorgt ervoor dat de levensduur van de batterij niet wordt aangetast wanneer de lamp op het oplaadpunt blijft liggen terwijl het lichtpunt al is volgeladen. Wanneer de technologie van uw smartphone het toelaat, ook uw telefoon met deze variant draadloos opladen.

De Gaku Tafellamp is voorzien van een geïntegreerde LED-lichtbron met een gezellige, zeer warm witte lichtkleur van 2700 Kelvin. Gaku is voorzien van een usb-kabel en stekker van 140 centimeter.
