Pair of Rocaille-style, 950 silver and crystal ewers, 19th century
French craftsmanship circa 1850

Crystal blown and cut with fluted ribbed facets, mounted in a silver frame with vermeil interior.
The neck of the ewers is finely worked with rocaille and floral motifs. The spout is sealed by a lid whose grip is ornamented with a relief rocaille motif. The handle is serpentine. The base repeats the rocaille and floral motifs.

Height: 31 cm.
Weight: 1411 g.

Cristal soufflé et taillé de côtes cannelé et monté dans une monture en argent, intérieur vermeil.
Le col des aiguières est finement travaillé de motifs rocailles et floraux. Le bec est fermé par un couvercle dont la préhension est un orné d’un motif rocaille en relief. L’anse chantourné. La base reprend les motifs rocailles et floraux.
