Volkswagen - T2 A/B Westfalia Camper - 1972

BODYWORK/PAINTWORK: The condition of the paintwork is very good and does not need to be redone I feel. There is a slight small part of surface rust above the right hand side of the doorframe. There are no dents or scratches from what I can observe . The rubbers , seals , and windows are in good condition. The chrome could do with a polish There is nothing that needs welded as the body is very solid and well preserved. Paintwork has some slight surface rust in the odd part. But it has been stored in a garage TECHNICAL: 1600cc twin port engine runs but is noisy so will need looking at. The brakes , tires , clutch and suspension belts are in fine working order but buyer could at new parts if they wanted to upgrade the camper van, there is no oil leaks and the gearbox is fine. The camper starts first time in cold and warm conditions , The engine is fine and running great but could need tuning. New Battery INTERIOR: A dormobile 4 berth interior is an original interior fitted to the camper when it was new in 1972 so was quite sought after. All the interior and fittings is original and nothing has been replaced or repaired , the headliner works perfectly and is all original , all electrics work fine. The seats are fabric original seats. Everything in the camper van is original nothing has been replaced. Although the interior is a little worn it is due to the age of nearly 53 years old. DOCUMENTS: UK registration. Logbook documents and keys have been added with pictures . OTHER INFORMATION: Bought in UK. It is mot and tax exempt. A stunning camper van that’s been really looked after and stored in garage for last 19 years. In remarkable condition for being 53 years old PICK-UP: Can be collected inspected in UK, place, Stoke-on-trent. #gardencollection
