1930 T-49 model located in Spain with Spanish registration, manual transmission, petrol fuel, multicolor paint, 15 HP, chassis 9549 with matching numbers and colours, service book present, MOT valid until 2026-05-01, engine number 9549, mileage 28,161 km, in original condition requiring cosmetic and mechanical work.
Description from the seller
Vehicle in ORIGINAL CONDITION dating from 1930.
Bodywork / Paint:
Vehicle in ORIGINAL condition. No bodywork or paint has been carried out.
From the photographs you can see there are some dings on the fenders, the front and the rear. The paint is peeling in some places. It needs to be repainted entirely.
The windows go up and down, but the seals have dried out from the weather.
The few chrome-plated parts there are would need updating.
It has never had any accidents, so there are no welds or anything on the original chassis.
MECHANICS:
The vehicle starts up well in both cold and warm weather. Only, you need to supply the carburetor with a little gasoline if it has been parked for a long time, especially to make it start faster.
It has a battery disconnect under the rear seat, which works perfectly.
The tires were replaced a few years ago, and it's a car that hasn't been driven much on them.
Leaf-spring suspension. They are in good condition, only need to be greased more often.
Radiator: The radiator was refurbished about 5 years ago due to a leak. The current one works perfectly.
Brakes: Original. The car stops correctly according to the latest ITV inspection (March 2026). Not much for what it weighs, but compliant with regulations.
Gearbox and clutch: No comments to add. It works, it has only three gears and reverse.
It has dual ignition, on the right and left, so the ignition never fails.
Interior:
Front: a one-piece complete seat in black leather. This piece comes with springs, which are already very worn, as is the condition of the original leather. Worn.
Rear: One-piece seat upholstered in felt. In good condition and well preserved. (Color Gray)
Pet carriers: there are 2 pet carriers, upholstered in gray just like the rear sofa. In good condition.
Interior: Upholstered in canvas, in good condition.
Bosch electric windshield wiper in operation
DOCUMENTATION:
In the photographs there are:
- Technical data sheet
- Vehicle circulation permit
- ITV valid until February 2027
I have the Classic Vehicle Certificate for exemption from CO2 tax in Catalonia, issued by the Catalan Federation of Historic Vehicles.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This vehicle had a taxi license in its town, since it transported guests staying at a hotel to the train station. For this reason, it combined a T-49 (6 cylinders) with a 4-cylinder T-48 engine.
I have the Taxi documentation.
It has an interior locking system on each door, and a keyed lock on the rear door to be able to lock the car completely.
All the parts are original to the T-49 model, bodied in Barcelona in 1930.
He has participated in several editions of the rallies, Paris-Barcelona and Barcelona-Paris.
It is a UNICO model, since it is bodied at the Barcelona factory, with a T-49 chassis and a T-48 engine. UNICO
It is in the name of a Spanish company, not a natural person.
The car is currently in Barcelona.
With the lot there are Hispano spare parts purchased in France. (to be detailed to the final buyer)

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
