In buone condizioni generali con usra del tempo 
Realizzata in marmo rosso di Verona, una pietra calcarea caratterizzata dal suo colore caldo e dalle venature che la rendono unica.
  Il marmo di Verona è estratto nelle cave della regione veneta, in particolare nei Monti Lessini, ed è stato utilizzato fin dall'antichità per sculture e opere architettoniche.
 L'interno della vasca è scavato e levigato, pronto per contenere l'acqua benedetta.
  Le dimensioni e la forma indicano chiaramente che si tratta di una acquasantiera ad uso domestico ho la capela privata 
  Le acquasantiere domestiche erano comuni nelle case cattoliche, posizionate all'ingresso o in una camera da letto per permettere ai fedeli di segnarsi con l'acqua benedetta.
 L'acquasantiera in marmo rosso di Verona, con la sua eleganza e il suo valore artistico, era probabilmente un oggetto di pregio, esposto in una casa benestante.
