Jan Snoeck - Pacemaker - 2007. Edition of 150 pieces. Unsigned
Jan Snoeck (1927 - 2018) studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, where he graduated in 1949. In 1953 he worked for a year in Ossip Zadkine's studio in Paris.
Initially, Jan Snoeck worked with materials such as stone, metal, wood and bronze. Later he mainly worked in ceramics. He used cheerful, primary colors and people were usually his subject.
The metal sculptures by Jan Snoeck were shown in 2007 at his solo exhibition at Beelden aan Zee museum.
