Item Description
First edition, and printing of this fascinating travelogue journey to Morocco in the early 20th century. Described By S.L. Benusan. Painted By A.S. Forrest. Illustrated with 74 fine, captioned tissue guarded full-page colour plates. 

Published by Adam and Charles Black, London, 1904. Publishers’ original super octavo, yellow cloth boards with blue, red, and green decorative Arabic design to front board and spine. Titling blocked in gilt on the front and spine. Top page edge gilt.

Condition
A well-preserved copy. Firm and well bound. External covers are clean and in nice shape, with light wear at extremities. Internally; the book in very good condition indeed. No names or inscriptions. Pages are clean, with light foxing to free endpaper pages and page edges. Inner hinges are very good. All pages are tightly held at the gutter. The text is clean. The coloured illustrations are fresh, and bright (Nice Copy) (Please see pictures).
