Ancient Roman iron bident, a two-pronged barbed spear or javelin that originated in ancient Italy.  
The bident will be delivered with the custom made wooden base (separate).

The bident's design made it effective both for thrusting and for trapping or pulling in prey, making it a versatile tool in both combat and hunting. The bident was also considered Pluto's primary attribute, symbolizing his dominion over the underworld and his ability to control the forces of life and death. It represented authority and power, much like a royal scepter. As the staff with a bident finial also served as a visual cue of Pluto's power, it was also used by priests or officials during rituals.
