Collier de protection ouvragé - Dragons impériaux - Protection, Longévité et Suprématie.

Le dragon représente la longévité, la persévérance et la réussite mais également le feu, la force et la suprématie. Le dragon est l’emblème des empereurs de Chine. Ils étaient eux-mêmes appelés “dragon” ou considérés comme “fils du dragon”.
Dans la culture chinoise, les dragons incarnent la bienveillance et la puissance. Ils possèdent de supposés pouvoirs de contrôle sur les phénomènes météorologiques comme, par exemple, invoquer la pluie durant une sécheresse. En Chine, on retrouve les dragons partout, dans les légendes, les festivals, l'astrologie, les arts, les noms voire les locutions.

Le dragon en tant que tel recouvre de nombreux symboles :
- l'immortalité, par sa longévité exceptionnelle ;
- la persévérance et la réussite : à l'époque du frai, la carpe du fleuve jaune remonte les rapides jusqu'à une chute nommée « porte du Dragon ». Si elle réussit à la franchir, elle se transforme en dragon. Sa volonté à remonter le courant est symbole de persévérance.
- feu, force, suprématie : dans l'art martial du dragon.
