Deze schaakklok is naar het MOM ontwerp uit Hongarije. Deze schaakklokken hebben een uniek design met een afgeronde afgewerkte houten kap en lage drukknoppen aan de zijkant. De letters MOM zijn vervangen door de afbeelding van een paard.


Dit type schaakklok werd halverwege de 20e eeuw veel gebruikt in het westelijke blok van de Sovjet-Unie (USSR) en de omliggende landen. Door het tijdloze design is het een zeer gewild verzamelobject


Dezelfde klok werd gebruikt in "The Queens Gambit", in de scène waarin Beth Harmon Georgi Girev speelde op een toernooi in Mexico.
