Nomen was very well known in the Graffiti/Street Art scene. He was one of the most prestigious artists in Portugal. With a 30-year career, his long professional journey led him to paint in countless countries inside and outside Europe. Moreover, his work has been shown and highlighted in magazines, websites and books, in Portugal and abroad (more recently in Qatar).

Nomen (1974) was a pioneer of graffiti in Portugal, whose universe interacts with urban space, starting from the first illegal incursions into trains and walls. He developed large-scale works both in exposed and institutional settings.
