Dave Cutler - Dave Cutler - 25th Maratón de Nueva York - 1990s

Original poster from 1994 for the New York Marathon, with design by illustrator Dave Cutler, corresponding to the 25th edition of the event, held on November 6, 1994.

The illustration shows numerous runners ascending and descending along the contours of the World Trade Center towers, against a blue sky with clouds. An imaginative composition that brings together two symbols of New York: its architecture and its famous marathon.

In the lower stripe appear the title «The New York City Marathon», the event date and the Mercedes-Benz advertisement.

A piece of interest for collectors of sports posters, advertising and historical memories of New York.
