Hippolyte Camille Delpy (Joigny 1842 – Paris 1910) was a French painter linked to the Barbizon school and influenced by the poetic realism of Charles-François Daubigny and Camille Corot, of whom he was a pupil. Specializing in landscapes, he developed a personal style characterized by a luministic attention and an atmospheric rendering that anticipates certain impressionist sensibilities. He regularly exhibited at the Salon de Paris from 1869, and his works are today preserved in various French and international museums.
